SPARK
FROM THE EARLY PAGES
He used to film the journey there.
Kabir’s earliest phone videos were taken through bus windows: passing fields, changing light, a reflection over the landscape. He was fascinated by the feeling of moving through a place, even when nothing dramatic happened.
Movement has a mood of its own.
The camera should feel like it belongs in the moment.

02 / FINDING A WAY
He found a rhythm beyond slow motion.
Learning the craft meant learning when to move and when to be still. He began thinking about the relationship between a wide view and a close detail, and how one could give the other meaning.
A little practice. A different perspective.03 / THE WORK, AND THE CARE
Be present. Keep the feeling moving.
Kabir follows the energy of a wedding, working with available light and considered camera movement. Aerial views are part of the visual plan only when they serve the story and the location allows them.
- Read the light and space
